​Kuntamo is a purpose-driven, community powered Workforce Studio dedicated to providing career opportunities to individuals over 40 and members of marginalized communities (LGBTQ+, abuse survivors, recovering addicts, reformed former incarcerated individuals, unhoused people, and indigenous communities) of all ages. By empowering them through training and support, we cultivate a workforce that delivers exceptional customer experiences.

Story
Kuntamo—derived from the Sambali word meaning "Ours"—was founded to rewrite the narrative for individuals seeking a fresh start. Inspired by our founders' fathers, who faced career challenges in their 40s after the U.S. Naval bases' closure in Subic Bay, Philippines during the 1990s, we believe everyone deserves a second chance. Partnering with the San Francisco Help Desk Institute (HDI) and F1 Access Institute (F1 AI) in the Philippines, we provide world-class training and a supportive environment, enabling our team to excel and find renewed purpose through meaningful work.​
